That's normal for a hub dynamo , they can feel surprisingly hard to turn by hand but you won't notice it while pedalling

Generally you don't adjust the bearings.
The right hand (connector) side has thin wires threaded through, which are easily broken. If you must, adjust the left side only, and judge by the axle play when clamped in the forks.
