Got a pair of Shimano MT41 SPD shoes for sale in size 44. I bought them for commuting the short trip to uni on the fixie, but they are just a touch too small for me. I've worn them for about 4 commutes (3 mile rt) so they are in excellent condition. Looking for £30 including delivery.

Also have a pair of Polaris Uni bibtights (S) which I got for xmas. They've been tried on but not ridden as they are too big for me. Still have the label and everything. Looking for £27 delivered.

Paypal only please. Feedback on ebay as jobe303.

PM or post if interested.

If you don't mind me asking, how come they turned out too small?

Reason I ask, is I'm looking to buy my first pair of clipless shoes and tried on the exact same shoes in Evans over the weekend (Shimano MT41s, size 44). They seemed to fit okay with a thick pair of socks on, but as I never tried cycling in them I couldn't be sure in practice.

I'd be interested but I'm leaning more towards the MT90 hiking boot-style ones atm as they are likely to see some walking-miles too - was just trying to get the Shimano foot size right as ordering via Mail Order.

(sorry to hijack thread, as least keeping it bumped  )

Well I bought them on the internet (as I do with 99% of things!) so I didn't get to try them on in the first place.
I'm happy in a Specialized 44 with my road shoes, and my non cycling Karrimors are a 44.5. These, however, are just a bit too tight around the toe box. I think they fit a bit narrow rather than short.
I've now replaced them with some Specialized Taho 44s which fit fine.
So I'd say, they would probably best fit someone who takes a 43 in most of their shoes.
They actually felt fine on the bike, but a little too cramped walking around.
Don't know if thats any use to you!

That's great thanks, I'm normally smaller than 44, so that sounds right. Will just have to suck and see I guess, just dithering as the MT90s are about 100 quid, so alot of money to gamble if they don't fit just so (will be ordering via internet too). GL with the sale!

Cheers, good luck finding some shoes:smile:
You can always take advantage of internet retailers' return policies! Unless it takes several rides to realise, after which they're visibly wornxx(
