shimano spd cleats

Halfords have got some spd mtb cleats for sale for three quid sorry cant get the link up they seem similar to mine was wondering if they will fit the 520 pedals your thoughts please as for three quid ill get a set and can have a spare set of shoes on the go for the commuter as my others are set up with road cleats

Yes they will be fine, 520 pedals are "MTB" pedals, but perfect for any sort of bike, all my road bikes have "MTB" pedals.

As for compatibility, yes they will fit.

I was going to advise about buying cheap cleats, (usually a poor choice), but as these are Shimano items fill your boots

Ask them to get some in for you. I actually live in Bolton but I use SPD-R so cheap or not they're no good for me

Just be aware that they are the single-way release type. Mrs A uses this sort, but finds the multi-way ones better.

The ones I use are single way just wanted to have a spare set of shoes for winter commuting so one can be drying.
