Hi

Ive not done one for some years though I think its a excellent way for children in the poorest of country's getting a little Christmas present

Your local churches usually participate or just look up the web page here

http://www.smileinternational.org/christmas-shoeboxes.aspx

Not really one for giving money for charities organisations as most moneys will line the pockets of the directors and staff, though this really works

Im doing two shoeboxes this year, one for a little girl, and one for a little boy. You can also pick what age group you want

Anyone doing some shoeboxes this year or done some in the past?

My wife usually does a couple every year and has been for a good few years now. Usually for same groups as you.
Daughters school is also participating this year, I got 'the look' when I suggested she could help the poor unfortunates on the South Bank after this news

Our local school organises something like this.

There must be a child in Africa with a great Koga bike with all the bits I have donated.

We also send toys as well ;0)
