Saw a chap with a shopping trolley leave his home and head off to Asda the other day. Seemed he keeps it for his too-ing and fro-ing (or maybe he was just returning it). His walk would be about a mile I think so he was being green even if he had "borrowed" the trolley
Was toying with the idea myself a few months ago  Lidl is only a mile up the road, bought a pet/cargo trailer for the bike instead, handy also for taking the cat to the vet.

We should post pics of our shopping bikes on this thread. And, perhaps, shopping adventures... on two wheels!

Well, here is the review of mine. I use it quite often, when not in use it sits on my patio (wheels off) and serves as BigCat's outdoor den ^_^

Here's my winter hack a couple of years ago. At the time, I went for riding lessons on a Tuesday, and a bunch of us also had an account with Suma wholefoods, and got stuff from them wholesale. It was delivered to one house, then we divided it up and took it home. So, riding boots (in one pannier), crop, helmet, plus 2 x 12 toilet rolls, a box of jars of pasta sauce, and one pannier of various other tinned stuff.

Got plenty of room that day.
