Ting is a generic term and too widely applied to lots of things for it to be specifically identified with guns. It all depends on context.
Meanwhile I'll drink my rum and Ting, snort some ting and roll up some ting and smoke it in a spliff while looking for the ting that I want to peel my potatoes with if I'm still standing after consuming all those tings.
