Killing me due to your anger at having to try and cling to my rear wheel for 3 hours?

Oh dear:sad:
You wont even be qable to cling to my back wheel. The fact i have blown off many people on geared bikes that should in theory be much better then me, is a sign.
FACT;)

Anyway, Montage(moving away from your gay porn images, not that there is anything wrong with them before someone jumps and says im homophobic or whatever:rolleyes:)
Did the frame you are using for fixed, come with a back wheel by any chance?
Im thinking of building my old frame back up into fixed for either a fixed TT bike or a hack. I was suggested this morning to get an old back wheel that takes a screw on block, and instead of putting the gears on put a sprocket on.
If you do this, make sure the sprocket is put on by someone who knows how tight to put it on, or put it on tight enough!!!
Someone i know never rode fixed with a lockring, just put the sprocket on right and it was fine.
Im thinking about doing this, but i think i might be getting some good fixed parts free. Just got to see whats bent and whats not bent.
So there is another way to build your bike up cheaper, there is bound to be someone out there with an old wheel that you can do this with, that you can get cheap or free.
And before someone comes and tells me you should always ride with a lockring on fixed. This is not going to turn into a helmet debate. I have rode a fixed without a lockring and it was fine, even with skidding. You do have to put the sprocket on tight enough, so you will need a chain whip.
Once you get your back wheel sorted out, its just a case of getting stuff cheap/free if you can, and the other parts people will have just knocking about somewhere if your in a club.
Get some pics up!
