I agree with BentMikey on this one, if you really have a cold and not just a few sniffles then give the bike a rest for a few days until it has cleared up. I hate doing it but I'm sure in the long run it's for the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Depends what you feel like!

If you feel physically drained, awful, then you're probably running a temperature, in which case it is best to eat good food, get plenty of sleep and don't over-exert yourself.

If it's only a head cold and you have no underlying medical issues, then go for it!

Personally, I get absolutely floored by head colds because I have hereditary ENT problems for which I have had several operations - for me to go and do exercise with a head cold would be insane!

been riding an Ice Cube?

No.Last winter I had a really bad time with a bad cough which went on through the winter which made me think this year I wouldn't as for trouble and would stop wearing shorts when it was very cold.

It was really bad as I was also struggling with my fitness at the time.

I also cut down on my boozing by over 90%.

Sorry to hear this Gaz- public transport is just not the same when you're used to biking in. Sounds like you need a proper rest and eat some good food to get you back on the mend and back in the saddle. GWS

Can you wangle a day off work - maybe tomorrow?
That'd do you good and you can rest properly.
