That is bad. I would not except it at all, don't even remove it from the shop until you get a result, ie money back or another brand of bike.

I have to hand it to Trek, their cust care/service is superb! I said I couldn't accept getting a replacement with the risk of it being bad again, so they offered me a free upgrade to Domane 4.0. After some further negotiation I have just taken delivery of the 4.3 and it is superb!!

Thank you Trek

Fantastic result Chris

I am looking to order a 4.3T WSD and a 4.5 domane, I was mortified when I read the beginning of this thread, but chuffed with the result you ended up with.

I would love to hear how you are getting on with the bike.

I will put a thread up asking for anyone else's views on the Domane

Excellent result, it is a pity that you had to go through the hassle in the first place but it is always pleasing to see a satisfactory outcome. Well done to Trek too for resolving the problem,

Now get out and enjoy ^_^

if the stickers are straight on this one, then lets hope the gears/brakes work so you can actually ride it. I appreciate the "it shouldn't be that far out of line" issue but I tend not to worry about stickers as i cant see em through the mud after the first five minutes anyways.
