should i use cararena to sell my car.

i have been trying to sell my car for the past 2 weeks and still doesn't look like i am any closer to selling it. i have been advertising it on ebay classifieds, piston heads and local admag for £2300 ono.

the closest i got was from a person in a nursing homing made an offer via ebay for £2000 but i didn't hear from him for 3 days and then when i emailed the nursing home i was told by the manager via email that due to circumstances beyond his control he is unable to buy the car.

i have been offered £1500 as there final offer and they will collect it and pay for it via bank transfer before i hand over the keys.

just wondering if i should accept the cararena.co.uk offer. or try and hold out for more privately.

I'd try webuyanycar.com I used their website to guage the value of a company van and was quite surprised by what they offered. I certainly didn't make out it was any better than it was either.

On the other hand they offered me £300 for my car and the garage offered £1100, guess which offer i took

Was the £1100 as a PX or were they just buying it from you?

I sold mine to wbac for £300 more than I was offered px, and got an extra £800 off the new motor as I no longer had a px.
