Mine is more a tourer than a cx, but a very good bike, highly recommend.

Today my girlfriends secondhand Specialised Crux expert ( 2019) arrived . It was well used by the previous owner but not scratched or dinged. He had done some changes in that it came with cheaper wheels ( he kept the Rovals) he put a smaller front chain ring on it (36T compared to stock 40) and put a massive 50T cassette on the back. I was surprised it worked. Going from smaller to bigger cog it was fine but once on the 50 it took 2 gear changes down to get it to shift. I then had to change the seat post as she is so short ( 4ft 10) the stock post with a curve set back on it would not go down far enouigh . Also he thoughtfully added helicopter tape in certain places , though the grip tape on the levers will have to go.Hopefully she WILL race n it in the coming season. It is pictured with my Crux elite . The only disapointment is that the Expert has 140mm rear rotors whereas our MTB's and my Elite has 160mm so cant swap rear wheels at will . ( note the flat pedals will be disapearing off it fairly soon)

It’s had an upgrade since this photo, now running Force hydraulics front and back. it got pressed into service as my camper van bike when we were travelling, changed the tyres, 40t ring (instead of 38). Pic of it in the Vosges Mountains. Great bike, love it.
