I'm quite (read completely) new to this whole winter cycling / commuting thing. Everyone goes on about bib this and Buff that.

Show us your commuting gear!

I think you may get more of a response if this was in commuting or cafe sections. This section is, I think, more for people posting piccies of their trusty steeds.

Or maybe people just don't have too many pics of their kit.

I went out this morning on a half hour ride. The BBC weather site suggests it was about 4°. I had an Aldi Base Layer, Altura long sleeve jersey and shorts with a wooly hat, fingerless gloves and cheap white sports socks. I felt warm enough although the hills I was going up and down may have been a contributory factor! I think I'll be able to use that when I start riding home at some point in the next few weeks.

I haven't got my digital camera at the moment and my phone's camera isn't great which is probably a blessing - you don't want to see the gruesome detail!!!
