I would show you my black Huntsman but some security goon at Tbilisi airport nicked it from my hold suitcase.

I'm in need of a replacement, either another the same or the sawless Climber.

I had a look around the charity shops, they dont do blades. The antique shops do blades but there was only one worn out and over priced real SAK. Ebay dont sell pointy things.
Is there a used market in SAK? Where ?

I can’t put a link up as it must be the slowest ever website, but find “Marc’s Army Knives” who has a huge selection of new and used Victorinox and Wenger, Swiss, but I know of British people who have bought from it easily.

Here's mine. Casing a bit broken and the spring thing in the scissors snapped off but otherwise OK.

Bit of an update following on from this post all those years ago. Eventually both scales got damaged and one fell off completely and got lost, as did the toothpick and the tweezers. I eventually got round to sending it off for repair, along with another one I had that suffered a little bit too. Not long after a package turned up with two knives therein. I suspect they just sent me two new knives.

Here they are:

I’ve got something else to post a picture of when I can remember where I put it.

Has anyone ever used the corkscrew on a SAK for its intended purpose?
Many times, but mostly in the 1990s when a lot of holiday accommodation didn’t have corkscrews and most wine bottles had corks.
I’ve probably only used it a couple of times in the last decade as corks have become increasingly rare. 😀
