He's one of my favourite cats on the show bench at the moment - such a gentle cuddlebug with a penchant for shoe laces. He's a rescue cat, abandoned with a shattered leg at a vet - whose orthopaedic specialist just happened to be on site that day.

Thank you xxx The Tissot was a Xmas pressie to self a few years back. It's on the left in the pic below. What I love about Milanese straps is that they're infinitely adjustable as well as being supremely comfortable - all three of these watches are on them, the one on the right is a variant that's got a segmented rolled gold overlay. The Milanese, complete with Seiko-branded clasp, is original to that Seiko.

Our first family cat was a lovely ginger Tom, some scumbag had thrown him off a bridge and shattered his pelvis. We had him as a rescue and he lived his best life to 18 years old with us.

They are lovely watches, very elegant. I sold off most of mine over the last year, just had too many I never wore. I am down to a more manageable three watches from around eight!

Awh bless xxx My first cat (cripes, that was nearly 30 years ago), was a lovely tabby & white boy who was dumped locally - before the branch of CP here was set up. He must've been abused, because while he showed he was friendly, you couldn't really touch him - poor sausage would run away, and he wouldn't come into the house. He was happy in my garage and had all his mod-cons in there.

Thanks  I find that the mid 60s to mid 70s hits the sweet spot in looks. The people that compliments whichever watch I'm wearing think I'm funning them when I tell them they're over fifty years old. But really, you can't beat good classic design.

I have eighteen - not counting the ones I've inherited. Whoops! In my defence, the vast majority of the ones I have bought myself I do actually wear.

My taste in jewellery (when I do wear any) is pretty similar - clean lines and understated.

watches and cats, it's the best of all possible threads

my first was c. 60 years ago, a fierce ginger kitten from the american lady who had one of the other flats (her cat had kittens), followed by a lovely tabby who i still miss

eventually convinced mrs s that she was a cat lady at heart, she really is, now on the second rescue cat plus one of her kittens

mum also has a rescue cat, both sisters have posh cats

mrs s, mum, and sisters still all wear the watches i got for them, so it turns out, all are watch and cat people

Im sorely tempted for a mere 499 murican snifters.

The engraving on the case back does it for me.

Over priced for a watch with an NH35 movement.

My watch collection started in 1985 when my wife presented my Christmas present a Lorus (on the left) which I used until 2023 when I needed an O ring which is now unattainable. My son bought me my current Laura’s (on the right) which is my daily timekeeper.

. I have certainly made good use of the Timson ‘battery for life’ subscription.
