We have a "Shower Hog" who gets in to the shower about 07:30 and then stays ther until about 08:15 - 08:20.

By this stage there are about 5 of us trying to get showered and to work by 08:30

Short of unlocking the door and dragging him out there is no answer as he will not take the hint even when asked not to take so much time.

Shame really as it is a nice setup with changing room and lockers adjacent to the shower and space for wet gear.
Why is he not courteous and respectful to the rest of you?

2 cubicles but about 6 cyclists at once, so often a queue develops. The changing rooms are tiny too, which is pretty bad considering the size of the building (about 5000+ employees).

Baby wipes and a can of instant shower here works well. We have 1 shower but the rate the water comes out is more like a dribble and really not worth it.

However the room where the server and boiler are located makes an excellent drying room

This is something that is really annoying me at the moment. My office relocated recently, and I went from having a nice clean shower all to myself, to having none in the female toilets.

There is a shower in the male toilets, which I am using, but I hate doing it. The whole process of having to shout to see if there is anyone in, stand around outside while they finish is just embarrassing (finish using the toilet, I mean. No one seems to use the shower). And when I'm in ("keep out" sign on the door), knowing that I'm probably annoying people wanting to use the loo isn't pleasant either. It's the only male one in the office.

I cycle between 5 and 18 miles to work, depending on route, but even the shortest route is pretty hilly, so really do need a shower. Plus on the days I don't cycle I run in, so definately need a shower after that.

I'm thinking of joining a gym a mile away, just to use the shower and walk from there. It's £40 per month though, so pretty steep just for a shower. But I'm really coming to dread using the shower in the morning.

It puts it into perspective, hearing what some of you have to put up with though!!! I can't believe someone would pee in the shower. That is vile.

Strip wash with a kitchen mop-up type sponge and water in the disabled toliet - and I work for Health Promotion Service NHS - what a joke!

Soak water into the mop up sponge and rinse my sweaty parts over the toilet. Health Promotion talks the talk but can't walk the walk.

When they charge £2.80 per hour to park why would they encourage cycling ?!

Three good showers in my locker room, but only 1/2 dozen or so hooks along a wall so can be difficult hanging stuff up to dry. I'm toying with the idea of an expandable airer, but that might not go down to well being left up and I'd probable find when I want to use it someone else has put their stuff all over it.

We've got showers- although in another building- but I just take it easy-ish on the way in and use a wipe and deodorant. I like to change and be at my desk in five minutes flat, that way I can leave later.

I'd save on my water and gas bill if I used them though..

We have 4 showers, plus 8 lockers, all kept clean by the cleaning staff :-)

So far, I've never had to wait for a shower.

No drying room (boss doesn't seem to want me spreading my dripping waterproofs out on his brand new servers for some reason) but dry/air my towel on a coat rack just behind me.

I thought we were spoilt, never occured to me to ask the company to provide free towels too!

(Mind, they have located the bike racks as far away from all building entrances as possible ...)

Urine & faeces may be distasteful, but they're as bad for your feet as other's peoples’ feet.

You see feet create a lot of bacteria and when you get a lot of feet coming in to shower, they leave behind their bacteria.

Showers are warm and moist – perfect breeding ground, so the bacteria multiply. This is what gives athlete’s foot.

Used to get athlete’s foot all the time. Visited GP who explained above and told me to wear flip flops. Not had athletes foot in 15 years of gym showers.
