I first went to Hull in about 1977 or so.

I have always liked it for some reason. Not the city as such 'cos I didn't ever see much of it but the feel of it. It always felt a kind of place that is relaxed and at home with itself.

Of course that is most likely complete b*ll*cks as someone from there will most probably tell me pretty soon.

Mind you I went there about a year ago and it seemed ok so far as i could tell. I have been to far worse places.

I am not from Hull origanaly we moved here when I was a kid. It at the arase end of the m62, it smells of fish and there are scrotes every where.... If i get the chance I am moving out.

I've worked in Hull for over 5 years now & have never experienced the smell of fish in the city centre. Any major city in the UK will probably have it's fair share of 'scrotes'
You haven't said where you would move to, but I'm sure wherever you choose there will be people who live there with similar views to you.
I'd lived in Bradford all my life upto moving over here & IMO Hull is a far better city than Bradford (probably doesn't say a great deal though )
