Enough of Mars Bars etc...
Aquafresh toothpaste was £1 for a 100 ml tube.
Bought some today.. Still a quid. Guess what? 75 ml now
25% price increase? 🤔
You made me go check my tube!
I always buy Acquafresh from Home Bargains for £0.99.
Mine is still 100 ml - I also checked the most recent bought tube, last week it was bought.

I'd pop back & buy a trolleyfull.. Quickly!

I bet the cardboard box is the same size as the previous one's.
The box is smaller, too. I thought it looked different but it wasn't until the eagle eyed MrsPete spotted it when I got back from B&M!

What annoys me is the rampant bollards the companies trot out to justify this.

Some years back Mars came oit with a dusey, about their shrinking sizes being their response to "the fight against obesity." Really? From a firm that does nothing but make people fat?

I wouldnt mind if they were honest and said, "we're simply maximising our profits in a high inflation commercial environment", but its the excuses, the deceptive packaging, etc, that make it so unseemly.

Greggs in the square in Otley did a bacon butty and coffee before 11-00 about five years ago,it was a superb deal, and the girls were run off their feet it was so popular,Otley being a great place.Well someone brought the hour to 10-00 which wiped me out it was too early to eat that at that time. I have just checked Greggs website and its back to 11-00,a great deal if anyone fancies one.

Terry's Chocolate Oranges - when the segment shape changed from a solid wedge to having a small gap between each segment a few years ago.
Something similar happened with Toblerones when they increased the gap between the pieces so you got fewer pieces in each bar.
