Hi I am pleased to be here my name is Kevin and I am a utility and commuter cyclist in South Wales, I ride between 4 and 5000 miles per year for general errands and a 32 mile round trip commute to work. My Ride is a compact E bike namely a Tern NBD, that is great for on the train in bad weather and when I am tired.
I am 63 years of age and I have commuted by cycle on and off for around 30 Years.
I would describe myself as borderline vehicular cyclist who likes to be quite prominent on the road, and takes the primary position most of the time. Outside of riding my bike I enjoy reading, music and family.

That's decent mileage per year Kevin.....a goodly commute too. *Is that a year round commute if the Weather is Semi-ok ? Essentially same distance as a round-trip for me too. First Summer / time ever i've actively biked in to work. I'm hoping to continue when i can through Winter too......

Generally speaking that is all weather and all seasons unless fatigue hits or weather is really poor. If the weather is bad or i feel a little off i will take the bike on the train and ride like a mile or so each end. Probably if I am honest looking to do the train option a little more this winter as at 63 aint no spring chicken any more.
