Anybody else in the same boat?

Right now I despise the smug gits sat there with their pristine gardens without a stray leaf in sight............grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

When I bought this house it was spring, and all was fine and lovely, but now, and every other autumn I am knee deep in the battle against sodding leaves and pine needles from the fir tree behind my garage (but unfortunately out of my boundary), this mess gets in the house, blocks the gutters and drains, ruins the gardens, gets in my car, blows in the windows, etc etc etc. I`m pissed of with it..............

Please let there be somebody else out there in the same boat as me!!

I'll bet you have it easy...
I do too these days. The place I used to be head gardener we were leaf chasing from September to January.
A couple of days a week was 3 people for 8 hours a day, the other 3 days was a couple of hours on a leaf blower.

Good leaf mould though!

I feel your pain!

My drive is 60ft long and I have to sweep it every day just as a minimum, the rest I can`t keep up with...........

Sycamore trees. When they are not dumping leaves their helicopter seeds are germinating ALL over my garden. They looked lovely in August when we bought the house. And don't get me started on the nettles from the farmers field that we back onto!

Got Sycamore trees here too - I`m always pulling them up, tough little buggers too! Not got nettles, but get plagued with bracken from the moors, and plenty of brambles. No bind weed here though, had that at my first house, I`ll say no more!
