My grouse is that forecasts are too dumbed down when many people are actually able to work it out for themselves. Instead of giving us a pointless recap of today's weather they could spend twenty seconds giving a thinking person's guide to what they expect to happen in the next 24 hours followed by the dumbed down detail for the dummies.

Edit: that Magicseaweed site is pretty good!

But that was forecasts of crap weather; not crap weather forecasts .
Riding in snow doesn't have to be crap.

True.... As long as it's fresh and not compacted and rutted by folks out showing off in their 4x4 tonka toys.
I had a great ride earlier this year on a gorgeous sunny day with about 6" snow on the ground, on my MTB wearing spiked tyres. Not another soul on the road, just mile after mile of minor road covered in fresh snow .

Oi! Give it rest on the snow will you all please. Ta. We're only just into Autumn, plenty of other crap weather to complain about before then.

That's the thing though, everybody complains about the weather, but nobody ever does anything about it.

i would like them to give more detailed info about the wind. Many tv reporters never even mention it. .... your average tv doesnt like to talk about wind much i guess.

Perhaps you already use Wind Guru?
