Simple words you mispronounce

we found out at the weekend that my wife of 14 years appears completely unable to pronounce “wasps nests”
Anyone else have similar revelations.

Ok,going a bit off topic here but why do newsreaders who are supposed to have a good command of the English language pronounce medicine "medson". It's not that difficult surely to say it how it's spelt.
