Just saw the pictures.. With "warmish" you mean..? I'd go with neutrals and colour-it-up otherwise (ie coushions, paintings, ornaments, etc). I'm not big fan of much colour on curtains to be honest and I tend to get bored of it. Also, darker colours tend to fade after a few washes (you do wash them, yes) especially if they are on the cheap side! I'd match the sofa..
How about something like that:

IKEA has good variety, cheap and easy peasy to put on (I done it myself so..)

MF is 43 and she will no grow any older than that.. MF also believes that curtains tend to show their price, especially after a while. So, either invest, or go with something that looks reasonable good in low prices..

I want a warmish colour i think...got another 3 windows like this to do as well as two for blinds..oh and a little room i forgot i had lol!

With both those I would be tempted with full width curtains, wall to wall. Also as @dellzeqq says, slim metal poles probably chrome to match the furniture.

You can get the poles to reach both walls and not have finials on the ends. The end brackets would sit a few inches in and allow the en curtain ring to be trapped on the outside end of the pole.

In the first image the curtains would go to the floor (within a inch so it isn't sweeping the floor and getting dirty) whereas in the second image the curtain would rest just above the radiator hiding the window board.

Plain neutral colours with maybe the pattern in the stitching or embroidered into the fabric. Mine are in cream with a dashed line pattern running through horizontally, made of short bits of 'cord' embroidered into the fabric. The cut ends of the 'cord' are left frayed and fluffy.

Deffo get full-width so that the whole end wall is covered when they are drawn. You need curtains that are 50% wider then the window so that they are not stretched out when drawn. The easiest way is to find the poles first (plenty on the web) then fit them THEN measure for the curtains. They need to end an inch above the floor; give the curtain-maker or supplier the distance from floor to the little hanging rings. Doing it the other way is harder but if you're buying a standard size you've no choice.

Warning: decent folk always have LINED curtains - you can tell when you are in a dodgy neighbourhood when you see unlined curtains, i.e. you can see the back of the curtain fabric from outside.
