Hi all,

Going to start building my own wheels from scratch. Gonna start by building a new set of wheels for my single speed.

Does anyone have any shops online I can look at for ordering flip flop hubs, spokes and rims ? Can buy them for seperate places if need be.

Thanks Ivan

Open Pro rims (should that be your choice) are often cheapest at Cyclebasket.com. Their double-butted stainless spokes are deffo the cheapest in the land; Alpina brand, which some people don't like, but I've never had problems with.
They do Zenith flip-flop hubs, don't know how their price compare.
Don't forget to factor in their rather hefty carriage charges when comparing.
Also make sure you double-check the items as soon as received, they have been known to make shipping errors...

Let us know what length spokes you end up using, as I've got an old Open Pro (slightly dented hitting a pothole descending the Bealach into Applecross..) lying around, and might as well build up another fixed wheel with it!. I'll be going for a zenith hub too.
