site logging me out

Well as an update its still doing it , getting mightily annoyed now as its so random as it can be anywhere from a few mins to over an hour and the site will freeze and just log me out without telling me .

Keeps happening. I've recently been coming back to the site a bit more regularly but I'm composing posts and losing them so I probably won't bother any more.

Right. I've logged out and cleared cache both here and on NCAP. Will see if it happens again. I'm afraid as it is the forum is pretty much unusable.

As per my post on the first page, also make sure you've got the 'keep me logged in' box ticked.

When I open my browser (Chrome on Windows 11) and navigate to Cyclechat.net, I'm quite often asked to login; maybe every week (approx). Same if I use my work laptop (also Chrome on Windows 11).

I have a feeling that other browsers don't have the same issue.
Am not aware that I've enabled any aggressive/weird security settings in Chrome that would cause the logging out.., mystery.

It may be CC that's logging you out. When you log in there's a check box which you can tick to stay logged in.

Always tick that (both on Cyclechat and Strava). It doesn't work for me!

If I alternate between two different PCs to access Cyclechat, can both remain logged in?

I remain logged in on two separate devices, tablet and handset, when the stay logged in option is chosen.

I'm logged in via a laptop, tablet and phone.

Correct feeling lol I'm good on Edge and Chrome too, on Windows 11, good on my Tablet - can't remember what browser, good on my Android too, Samsung browser I think.
Something must be amiss with your Chrome, if in doubt clear history and cache, this mostly works.
