They were so good in the first half I thought they might have done it at one point. Ferocious attacking right to the end, but the Welsh defence was as good as it gets. Phase after phase of good attacking drives each met with an impenetrable wall of red shirts. I thought Denton, Jacobsen and Strokosh gave it their all up front. Cusiter had a reasonable game, but a few of his box kicks went a bit too long, and despite a superb chasing game from Scotland, gave the Welsh some soft possession. Can't argue against either of the cards though. It's tempting, but Lawson knew very well that he was the wrong side of that ruck. It may have saved a try there and then, but 13 men won't repel Wales with their tales in the air!

yup thats the way don't big up Wales cos if you do they will screw up. its not about the triple crown , its about the slam . Hope France get beat though.

I'm liking the England changes for this match. With it being Twickenham too I'm expecting a close match, certainly tighter than some of the predictions I'm hearing. I would have to predict a Welsh win still but probably only by 3-5 points. I'm hoping to be completely wrong though and I often am.

That was clearly a try. Watched it 5 times on the slow-mo. He grounds the ball cleanly while under control, why the video ref kept concentrating on the shot where George North is blocking the view I'll never know.

It seems to have been a good game and that England put up a much improved performance. Wales are the European team at the moment and so I hope they go on and win the championship or even get the Grand Slam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good atmosphere at the stadium this afternoon and the Wales team did a lap for their supporters, posed for photographs with fans and spent time signing autographs. All in the nicest possible fashion. It will not get broadcast - unlike the pigs at football matches and their headline grabbing antics. I seemed to notice Foden covering a lot of ground and Tuilagi is a wide boy - in the nicest possible way. Legs like two trunks, not tree...
At the death, try or not, I felt England would have done better driving towards the posts rather than release the ball when they did. Anyhow, the conversion would have been missed and it would have ended in tears of Flood's.
Well done Wales - it's only a game remember. (Probs. need to remind the Scotch of that tomorrow apres midi...)
