There'll be no wooden spoon this year for Scotland. I reckon they'll win at least two of their matches (Italy and France) and perhaps three (Wales).
I'll not bother watching this afternoon then...

On paper the sweatiez are better than us Taffs .

Italy could beat Wales by 50 points to Nil and still Howlett Gstland and the piersmorganlike WRU would still keep them in a job.

Scotland are shite.
And it won't be too long until Italy overrun them because they can only get better.
Funnily enough Scotland became shite round about the time of professionalism creeping over the border.

I gave up watching Scotland some years ago. They rarely fail to disappoint.

Don't be so miserable - they performed well in the autumn.

Any road up, there's nothing wrong with a bit of fantasy before it all kicks off and we are sent crashing down to earth again.
I am going for a new tactic, after years of proclaiming how it's going to be Scotland's year for as long as I can remember.

I just hope nobody mentions any recent(ish) form which indicates some hope...
You've missed a really positive Autumn series, a great 6 Nations and a quality world cup in the last year or so.

Doh!

I think Scotland might just surprise Ireland today.

Can't see beyond an England vs Ireland decider for the championship winner, but don't think either will achieve a grand slam.

Scotland to spoil it for Ireland this afternoon, and the Welsh to scrape a win over England later in the tournament... The Welsh always have 1 good game in them, and it's usually against England in Cardiff.

It will be interesting to see whether the English strength in depth is a good as Eddie thinks.
There are a lot of first choice players missing.
