I took the SIM and battery out of my Nokia 3310 (2017 model) and then put them back in. It will no longer boot-up, even attaching it to a charger results in nothing.
It's an old phone so it's no big loss but does anybody know what I might have done wrong? There is no apparent damage to the battery connectors.

Battery back in the right way? Otherwise can't think of anything.

Rub the Sim card contacts and the battery contacts on your jeans to clean them up a bit and use a bit of light cardboard to clean the contacts on the phone. Then try it again.

This used to happen sometimes with an old NEC mobile I had years ago.

Thanks but the battery connectors are recessed and clean.

I'm beginning to think my phone isn't a genuine Nokia. I've had a look at replacement 3310 phones and the SIM connectors are completely different.

It's clean. I don't think that would stop the phone booting-up anyway.

If it wasn't getting a charge, it wouldn't start.

I think I've found the problem. One of the brass battery connectors is a bit wobbly. I can't see where it joins the rest of the circuit but it's probably come loose from it.
