Reuters reporting that Thom Evans has had an operation and is moving his arms and legs....and hopeful he'll make a recovery.

Also reporting that Paterson is in hospital overnight with an injury to his right kidney.

Just read that in the Guardian, slightly relieved to hear it.

In some ways I'm glad that it shows once again that you don't win by being undisciplined; by giving away penalties and being stupid enough to get sent off.
Fair play to Wales, they never gave-up.

If I was the Scottish coach I'd be telling the 2 that were sin-binned to pack their bags and Fcuk of home.
did you see Andy Robinson's face? I think they'll be lucky to avoid being sent home in a bag!

Not best pleased was he! I tell you what though, I can't remember a more entertaining match for years. The quality of the Scots game up to "that point" was awesome.

France Ireland? Had a lot to live up to, but the French are looking very very strong up front, with penetrating runs from both forwards and backs.

There have been loads of club level, any game between Munster and Northampton is bound to be exciting!

One thing you can say about the welsh they ain t boring. Probably beat the french and Irish self destruct against the italians like they did against the English and finnish 4th again. Significant injury to Gethin Jenkins one of the finest players in the world IMO. Mind you, you cant keep little Shane down can you.

Anyone ever been to an 'away' game in France? If so, how does ticket purchasing work? Is it a case of contacting your national rugby union and purchasing 'away' ticket allocation?

I cannot see anywhere on the SRU webpage which would allow me to buy 'away' tickets. Although I know there is no segregation I'd imagine there would be an 'allocation'...maybe not.

Any advice would be appreciated as Mrs Noodley fancies going to Paris next year...it would be rude if I didn't go with her  She also fancies Rome, but it's a bit too soon for this year...

I have been to a France v Ireland game in Paris and I got my tickets through my own rugby club. Thats how tickets are allocated in Ireland but cannot speak for other countries. But it might be a good option for you to investigate joining your local rugby club as a non playing member to allow you access to tickets. Stade de France is a great place to watch rugby and so handy with the train station a couple of hundred yards from the ground going straight to Gare de Nord.

Thanks. I had been thinking of joining the local club as it was as I know a few of the guys there and have been to a few games.

I went a few years back to see France v Wales, about 84/85. A small cafe/bar outside the Parc des Princes was serving beer at 07:30. I have absolutely no idea how I managed to get a ticket, but I did. France won, and it was a long walk back from wherever it was that I ended up.
