Calcutta cup would have been a great game but scots injuries (gws one and all) and english shiteness have broken that dream.

Goodness me we were crap against Italy on Sunday. How did the Welsh contrive to lose to that shower?

Weren't we though! SO disappointing. I'm glad it was close though, hopefully it'll give the England team a kick up the arse to improve their game. Eugh.

Top celebratory antics! ;)
Alas, the report fails to mention whether they ended up at the motorway services by means of said transport...

You can just see them trundling along the motorway and saying words to the effect " Yeah, let's go and get a Costa Latte and a BK Flamer."

Love the quote from Powell's agent:

Mr Powell's agent, Mike Burton, told BBC Radio 5 Live: "Andy was disappointed and embarrassed to find himself in this position.

"He does not excuse or condone drink driving in any form and it was a misjudgement. He is sorry and he will face up to it."

He did not go on to say "But let's face it, he and the boys were the heros of the day, and it's no good getting all po-faced about it. He was utterly wankered, and still scorched from playing dance of the flaming peanuts in the hotel lobby. If his mate hadn't been hanging off the back of the golf buggy with his knob out, no one would have even called the filth."

Welsh management have come down hard on him. No more six nations this season.

Not like the old days.

Kicking the Calcutta Cup around the Edinburgh pubs.

I remember one elderly retired Australian player lamenting that you were up for a disciplinary if you didn't go round to the coach's house after for beers

It also demonstrates what a difference the Ref makes. He made so many bad decisions i couldn't keep up.

Ell well, Northampton are playing Leicester at the moment, thats the important game as far as I'm concerned.

I agree.. the ref was totally whistle happy. He and his touch judges were consistent in pinging both teams unfairly at times.

So now Scotland, having lost to France, given the game away to Wales, [don't even mention the Italy game ], will probably beat England in the Calcutta Cup - just to prove how infuriating they are ! ;)

I can't believe it!

Fair play to Ireland.

England can still win the six nations though. Just the Scots next.

Why not?

Are you so deluded that you think any English team, in any sport, is worth a dam?

A much better performance from England in this match and they could have won with a little bit of 'lady luck' and a little more sensible refereeing. There are now two more matches to go and they will not be easy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
