Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knew my options for a new wheel; I need a new one basically, but my wheel; size is 26 x 1.3/8 with marathon plus fitted, so I would like to get a wheel that fits these tyres.

However, will these tyres fit any size 26 rim?

Many thanks for reading,
Max

There are several different wheel sizes called 26" which are not compatible with each other. Looking on the Schwalbe website they show the 26x1 3/8 Marathon+ as being to fit a 590mm rim, which is an older size also known as 650A and is not interchangeable with the far more common 559mm or mountain bike size.

What other size markings do your existing tyres have? Ideally look for the ETRTO size which will probably read 37-590 if I've interpreted the Schwalbe info correctly (tyre width in mm by wheel rim diameter in mm).

If they are 650A you might struggle to find ready-built wheels in this size, however rims are still available so new wheels could be built up for you.
