There seem to be several versions of these or things near identical floating around under different makes. I have two sets under different brands.

Toured France with a set. Fettled them a fraction before I left and used a bungee right around them for extra stability; no problems at all. I'd gone with an attitude of "if they start to fall apart, I'll just buy some better ones - £10 wasted". Still using them 12 years later - yesterday in fact.

So impressed that I saw another pair at a boot sale for £5 still in the packet. Now use those on the front for trips.

So yes, there are sexier things out there, but you can get 12 pairs of these for the price of Ortys - they are superb, but it's what you want to pay.

Errrr.....
They're fine, perfectly usable bags. Not waterproof, but then what do you expect?

I started out with a pair of these, the only problem I had was occasionally setting off without securing the bungees, which cumulatively wrecked them (and took out the cable mount on my nexus 8 hub, but that's another story) to the point they were unusable. Replacements cost almost as much as the bags (!) so they've been relegated to bottle bank trips and picking up takeaways, whilst a lovely pair of Ortlieb classics handle the commuting duties now.
