Depends what sort of wheels you are using, and what use you are putting the bike to, silly using expensive skewers if you have cheap wheels or just riding to work or road use.

I have a white bike with flashes of red and black.

I fancied the red ones but wasn't sure whether red mean't really red or nearly red or a bit pinky or nothing like red at all...so I went for black.
