Totally off thread but can anyone recommend a ski tour operator? 8 people, France, 21st March.

I'm going boss-eyed online...

My mate uses SnowBizz (I think they have a website). He's used them a few times as they are 'mid-range' in price, nice friendly owner, chalets were basic but perfectly adequate, close to slopes. I think he went to St.Vincent (sp?) in France.

Can get more detail off him if needs be.

There should be plenty of choice - business is going downhill at the moment...;)

True, a lot of the companies are on a slippery slope at the moment;)

Silver Ski. A company that has a policy of not employing gap year bimbos, only people who know how to cook and manage a chalet. It shows in the quality of their service.

Simon Butler skiing in Megeve. Great resort, great chalet and great company. They teach and do guiding and it was Simon Butler who won a judgement in France to allow British instructors to teach skiing there.

Megeve is not a lager-fuelled package resort so don't go there if you want to get pissed and go on the rampage. The entire village and surrounding area is owned by the Rothschilds so it is carefully and discretely managed.

Thanks everyone. We've used Silver Ski for a few years now and they've been excellent but it's good to get a wider idea.

RR....what kind of girl do you think I am?
