Oooh would go with the fast green skoda estate I bought a couple of weeks ago

That said I probably wouldn't even though it looks rather like the trek I have been admiring

I didn't realise Skoda were making bikes in 1895. I wonder how many of the modern names will still be around in 120 years time. Before the rise of the communist regime in Czechoslovakia Skoda were making very high end cars for the luxury market. It was the communists who destroyed the marque and it has been a long struggle back for them, backed by VW.

I saw a skoda yeti in the local dealers with a skoda mountain bike on the roof rails. Looked an ok piece of kit to me. As I'm getting a new skoda car, would have no problem with a bike from them, especially if they threw it in for free!

I went past Preston's Skoda at Writtle yesterday and noticed a car in their showrooms with a bicycle on the roof carrier. I had to go and take a closer look thinking it would be one of the Skoda bikes but no such luck. It was an Ammaco sporting a sign advertising Cycle King, Chelmsford. They are missing a sales opportunity, a lot of cyclists go past their garage.

Ranging from £600 'cruise' to about £2000 i thinkfor the carbon M Sport road bike.

We had a £600 'cruise' one on display for 2 years, never sold it so it got written off as old stock and bought by the manager for £50, convenient.

No one was ever interested, if they had £2000 to spend on a Carbon bike they would want a bike manufacturers name on it. But then they assumed it was over priced because of the brand anyway.
