Not making the ride as I'll be at the ToB in Stoke but I am coming over with some bikes for a media photo shoot next week.

Did the sky rode today - was great to ride into the city centre with no traffic. Loads of people turned out - really good atmosphere.

Did the Brum Skyride Yesterday & have to say i was disappointed with the route .

Hardly touched on the City Centre & having 100's trying to cycle through the Rag market's 6Ft aisles at the same was laughable.

Very disappointed .

Yes, the route wasn't great (and was too narrow around the city centre) but on the whole I thought it was a decent event. Perhaps cos it was the first one and they weren't sure how many would turn out was why the route wasn't wonderful. Maybe next time it'll be better.
