I thought about the dress codes I have used in the boudoir, and used them as a set of choices. I haven't worn socks, so it wasn't an option.

Boxers most of the time or jammies if its really cold. SWMBO has a nice 7Kw bum which keeps me warm most of the time

Aye that's me'n all. Though to keep the dressing on my most recent wound I had to wear hipsters*

Standing up.

I once actually did fall asleep standing up at my sisters, despite it being apparently impossible to sleep standing up. Even though I showed no signs of falling, she woke me up in case I did fall. It was strange waking up in standing postion.

Nothing but in seriously cold conditions (I don't like heated bedrooms) I've occasionally put on a T-shirt and pair of socks.

Lovely fleecy PJs in the winter except when sleeping on the boat and then I'm in PJs, cashmere bedsocks, beanie, fleece & sleeping bag with jacket thrown over the top for good measure (it's like camping in the middle of winter - madness!), au natural in the summer or in company.
