I find winter slippers work great when cycling in the snow.

I hate slippers, can't stand them, like to walk around in socks or bare feet, my other half on the other hand can't live without them, she goes for the furry fluffy soft boot type ones (a bit like an Ugg but not quite). Think it stems from fact that she gets cold feet & hands really easily, which is something I've never had an issue with (i don't really mind the cold in general, much prefer it to the heat/ anything over 22-24C)
Have a pair but rarely use. Instead i have a massive supply of woolly synthetic socks my dad acquired from work, one pair in spring, summer, autumn, double pair (4) in winter. Far more practical, comfy, hygienic. Some days i get through 8 or even 12.

One thing i can't abide is big fluffy novelty slippers.

Edit, no personal disrespect, just noticed some upthread.

Another croc wearer here. In summer, sparkly Hello Kitty ones. In winter, the fleece-lined ones (ok, the Lidl croc clones for those, think they're a fiver a pair).

I also have a thin cheap pair of croc clones that I use when I'm sewing. I can't drive a sewing machine with the more chunky ones.

Also wear the Lidl "Foot Heater" clone socks layered over ordinary cotton socks during the winter as well - that way my feet are toasty warm. I can't abide cold feet...

Cracking a solo.
Well, this thread needs an update. Yesterday my wife came out of the bedroom and announced that she didn't know where her normal slippers were and so was having to wear her holiday slippers!!
