Glad you're ok - I had one of these on my old bike, paying too much attention to a cyclist riding up the inside of me and not enough to the traffic ahead - lesson learned.

Glad all wasn't to bad....
One of my clubmates did something similar, although he wasn't watching, and ended up on the rear seat of the car - right through the back window.
There was also a crash in the Tour where I rider went through the window of a Team car....

Sympatico Goo! I just avoided rear-ending a Merc this morning pulling away at a set of lights in similar circumstances.
I think there's a tendency to pile on the power when you're in a queue at the lights and things get moving, so it can be trouble when somebody in the queue stamps on the brakes.

We all make mistakes,some of the mistakes I have made make me cringe.
Best thing to do is learn from them.Hopefully I did.
I hit a car in 1987 near Stratford although at less than 10 mph but it happened.Hope you are ok.
