It's not the size of the torpedo that counts, it's the way it wiggles through the water ....

Saddle bags !!! this is a cycling forum :boxing:
I need more room for carrying everything on my rides

On your bike you can get away with large. On my hybrid I've got one with drop down panniers for if I need them. Not really used the additional space yet, but you never know. I might go past a garden centre and need to come back with two trees  .... road bike has a medium to small-ish one as I cannot travel without a spare top for if I get cold (which I always do when I stop):cold:

Puddles

Do I need to get the spray plaster out?
Large saddle bags and a Largish basket for me now, especially as "Little" is woefully inadequate in the boot department. I can get 5 x 4pt of milk in each saddle bag with stuff on top

On the day bike I've the 9 litre Super C audax, guess that's small then.

On the town bike it's the Nelson - meejum, supplemented by a rucsac/rucksac/rucksack if need be.

And on the tourer it's a 23l super C - the full monty. It can hold an entire kitchen and larder.

Saddle bags on road bikes are illegal. I will allow a small pack to carry puncture kit if you are on a sportive or event, but that's it.

Illegal I tell you.
