I bought one of these the other week:

It's a Bluegiga BLED112 Bluetooth Smart Dongle. With it, I can write a program to simulate a Bluetooth LE Cycling Speed and Cadence device, which means that when I add BTLE support to the Windows Phone app I'm writing, I can debug from the comfort of my room, rather than putting my laptop on the wheelie bin and turning the pedals on my bike, which hangs on the wall in the back passage.

You can wake up now.

EDIT: Oh, and it came in that Jiffybag, which was further wrapped in a plastic courier bag. Car keys not included.

21st Century TV is passing me by. I've yet to master the TV remote control units - largely because it's difficult to wrest control of them from my wife and daughter.
