I would like the collective wisdom of CC.
I have changed some Tesco vouchers into an Evans voucher. £167 of Tescos clubcard points gives me £501 to spend at Evans, so I fancy a smart trainer.
I'm looking at the trainers at £699, but which?
The Kikr Core, (There seems to be a whole thread about the faults these have, though I haven't read it all.)
The Jet Black Whisper Drive or the Tacx Flux 2?

Any thoughts or experience welcome.

Dont buy the Wahoo currently- the same reoccurring fault, so QC/design a problem. Its very odd considering I owned a Kickr from 2014, which is virtually identical, it was fantastic and totally reliable .

Buy a Tacx or Elite, the best you can afford

(Im a Neo 2 owner for 2 days)

The core has had some QC issues although Wahoo are doing their best to sort it out.

The jet black is not a popular trainer on here, afaik, so no view on it.

The flux has been well received but some have had problems with belts. The 2 solved the long cage problem of the original flux.

I’ve ordered a core from Evans despite the issues.

Ordered mid December and the delivery date has been pushed back to mid January. I’m hoping these will be a new batch that have had all the teething issues resolved
