Well, no one really knows the long term affects health wise because it hasn't been around long enough for any authoritative long term study. Conditions such as obliterative bronchitis have already been linked to certain types of juice, and it doesn't seem likely that other types will be discovered as a cure for cancer or something.

If people want to vape, fine, go nuts. If they're worried about their health they need to actually stop inhaling stuff (apart from clean air, of course ;) )

I am convinced for various reasons that it is not good at all. I am smoker trying to give it up, I fecking hate with a passion the vapers who leave chem trails in their wake. Its extraordinary how anti social it is. Don't mind the puffers but some are just ludicrous. Someone at work took it up and came close to going ot A&E Nictotine overdose. AS he says watch a vaper, its never ending smoking. At least a fag its comes to an end. Vapers sit their puffing puffing puffing endlessly.

These are the feckers!! Note it doesn't rise he same as Steam or smoke, its denser heavier coupled with some of the dopey flavouring its more anti social than a fag

Time you enjoyed wasting was not wasted
30th January 1987 was when I had my last fag. It was a Friday night in the pub, just before closing time, and I still remember smoking it as close to the tip as I could because I had decided this would be my last one. Not at all easy to stop smoking, the first 3 months were hell (this was about my 7th attempt and I had never lasted more than about 3 weeks before).

I used to have dreams for years that I was smoking and I would wake up disgusted with myself. I can't stand the smell of them now, they stink, as does the breath of people who smoke.

I'm happy with the switch I made to vapeing a few years ago, feel a lot healthier for it and the once in a blue moon that I run out of juice so have a rollup or two in the mean time, I find tobacco not very pleasant any more, smoked pretty much daily from a v young age.

Its amazing the difference that smoking makes to cycling. I gave up ages ago but for some stupid reason bought a couple of packs last week. Today cycling was hard work ! i huffed and puffed my way round, needless to say i shall not be buying any more !

What was the catalyst that made you reach for the fags again?

Why can’t they just swallow their nicotine hit instead of smoking it? It’s such an unnatural disgusting thing to do. New delivery systems needed.

Because it's nowhere near as satisfying, the act of smoking is something else you end up often psychologically addicted to on top of nicotine addiction. It's what makes vaping such an effective tool to quit imo (as well as being able to taper down nicotine levels gradually).

I just can’t see the act been as satisfying as masterbation in all fairness.

>30 years for me. A friend and I gave up at the same time, when neither of us could see the point. We both had cravings on and off for about 12 months then all was good. For many years I have hated the smell and was counting down the days when the ban in public places was announced.

Is it possible you could smoke for 30 years, stop for 20 years but the smoking of way back then still triggers cancer?
