The kids have built a snowman - just enough snow for a 1 foot one ! They are now sledging down the frozen stuff on the road !!

I have an inch of snow outside. It started at about 11.30 quite lightly, while I was out at a local craft market that has just started up but wasn't settling. After a couple of hours in the workshop after lunch everything is white and fluffy outside.
I thought we might have a special sort of microclimate here - 10miles west - but it has just started

It hasn't snowed down in S London yet. The sky looks like it's ready for a bit of the powdery stuff but I'd say the air is still too dry.

I had intended to go out for a ride before the snow started in Leeds - predicted for 15:00 but by the time I'd finished faffing it was 14:00 and the snow had started to fall. I went out anyway and got in a 25 five mile loop out to Otley, over the Chevin into Kirkstall to check on the progress of my new bike at Woodrup Cycles and then back home. The snow is still falling as fine dust.
