Snow, winter 2014 to 2015

Yes, it is and what is most incredible is that I live in the tropical Thames Valley where it seldom snows.

Well, when I say snow, I mean a few tiny flakes blowing in the wind. Not really snow but it was snow, it was! Quick night blast of three miles up and down the farm tracks with the dog running along side. Certainly cold enough and the Dog was as usual happy.

I wonder if this is a sign of things to come for this winter. The winter of 2009-2010 we had snow this early and it was bad. Nothing forecast though.

Its not that early for snow.
Backend of March 94 we had snow waist deep in places.

We had a State election last weekend, and the snow was really thick.

Last year I was in Glencoe at the beginning of September and we had snow then. How is this early? It is December after all.

Don't usually get much snow here on the North Devon coast. Maybe a couple of days a year on average. Some years get none all. Very occasionally get it very bad. All or nothing really!
