SNOWING!!!!!

Fairly light here, but steady and a light covering outside of Sheffield towards the peaks

I was impressed with the guy cycling out to Bamford at a quarter past seven this evening, thinking (respectfully) "nutter".

Then I remembered why I was driving out that way - to park up and go for a 6 mile run around the North section of Ladybower. In the pitch black and the snow, with a red LED to warn of my presence while I got my night vision. Suddenly the cyclist didn't seem like the nutter.

I enjoyed my bath and am now undoing the good work with a big bowl of winter vegetable stew and a bottle of Marstons Old Empire

Beautiful day from dawn 'til dusk in the north.
I had to take my gloves and windproof breeks off, as I was overheating on my leisurely spin around the countryside.
Spring is in the air.

I just heard on the local radio station that I should expect some snow tonight and tomorrow morning. Thank god this is my last shift for 4 days

Another covering this morning, and a heavy blanket of freezing fog. It didn't get over -2 deg yesterday, but I wanted a day out on the bikes with Cubester this half term, and took leave especially

Stuff out of the sky is varying from wet to fluffy almost by the minute.

No choice, as I cycled in this morning, but not looking forward to a wet ride home.

Am still on nights, doing 2 extra for colleague cover tonight/tomorrow, just got up to find an inch laying and steady snow coming down, so I won't be on the bike again tonight!
Come on spring, do yer thing!

Its been snowing steadily in the Northampton area since lunch time.
I was thinking about going for a spin after lunch.
But decided it was not worth the risk, with cars on the road.

Another day of brilliant the blue sky silhouetting the snow topped mountains mirrored on the calm blue sea.
It's days like this that just make it great to be alive.

I do hope the weather improves soon for you poor southerners.

Its been snowing heavily here in Coventry. Its settled and still going falling heavy. Not looking forward to my ride home at 7pm.

Just seen a cyclist on the road, dressed in all black with no lights on! Crazy fool!

White out here. Cycling home was ghastly. Being half term there were some really dangerous f'wit drivers on the roads who I suspect wouldn't have been out if it wasn't.

Listening to the local radio. Seems alot of motorists are stuck and not going anywhere. I wont be having that problem in 59 mins

Been wet and drizzly since lunchtime here, but the snow is starting to fall with a vengeance now (or more accurately, from 1minute after leaving work )
