So any cycle-cam'ers watch Peter Kay's Car Share?

I tried to be outraged. Then I just laughed.

Then I thought it's actually a good thing that being aware than cyclists may be filming you isn't a bad thing to have in the public psyche

I quite like the idea of resting my water bottle on a car roof. It hadn't occurred to me before seeing that programme, but I might give it a go, with specially loud thumps reserved for Volvos naturally

I thought that it was as much a parody of the social media aspect and cyclists in general

Tatty older middle aged cyclist with a beard rather than a "Lycra lout", and the way the video got edited in an increasingly outrageous way

Actually quite enjoyed it

Barnet,
I thought it was very funny. Every bit as good as the first series. The cyclist bit was made out to be funny, but many of us experience something like this on a daily basis, this turned it around so that it showed the silliness of it on the side of the driver and the cyclist.

I too have heard the new series is every bit as funny as the first series....which is why I'd rather move to Grimsby than watch it.

As I lay dreaming in my bed
Across the great divide
I thought I heard the trawler boats
Returning on the tide
And in this vision of my home
The shingle beach did ring
I saw the lights along the pier
That made my senses sing

Oh oh Grimsby, a thousand delights
Couldn´t match the sweet sights
Of my Grimsby
Oh England you´re fair
But there´s none to compare with my Grimsby
Through nights of mad youth
I have loved every sluice in your harbour
And in your wild sands from boyhood to man
Strangers have found themselves fathers

Take me back you rustic town
I miss your magic charm
Just to smell your candy floss
Or drink in the Skinners Arms
No Cordon Bleu can match the beauty
Of your pies and peas
I want to ride your fairground
Take air along the quay.

Not seen the new one yet, but the Dogging episode would take some beating. I was incapacitated with laughter.

The big issue I have with it is the total failure of continuity. His character lives in Bolton and hers lives in Salford (as you can tell by the street signs on her walk to the bus stop) and they work in Manchester so how does it come about that when he's driving her from Manchester to Salford, they go VIA BURNLEY? I appreciate they want to do a bit of a travelogue and show the North West in all its sunny splendour but anyone with the most rudimentary knowledge of this area would be quick to tell you they wouldn't go from Manchester to Salford via a chippy in Burnley (unless they are partial to anaemic, barely-cooked chips of the sort you tend to get at that branch of Banny's shown in the first episode).
