It's a bit more complicated than that...
What she objected to was industrial slaughter
Ironic, given the industrial slaughter that happens on board a trawler. Much of which is just chucked away.

tlh is a piscatarian (?sp?) and she can do no wrong...who eat fish.
WTF is all that about?
Mark Kermode, my nephew and his wife, to name but three.
A trout isn't a farking sprout, FYI.

That only works if you kill (or neuter) the sheep that don't run away.Have you ever noticed that, if you are out for a walk in the country, you always come across one brave sheep that won't run away?
My missus tells me off for running at them to scare them off.
I explain to her that I am ensuring that future generations of sheep don't become emboldened to take over the world, by diminishing the chances of of a dominant gene being passed on.
One day human kind will thank me.
How'd you know that?Vegetarian farts are the worst
My sister is a vegetarian who loves smoky bacon crisps and beef flavoured Pot Noodles![]()
All pot noodle is vegetarian
After half a dozen pints of old original you've probably already blown it anywayAs a former Vegetarian I can sympathise, my diet now only includes a relatively small amount of meat/fish.
BTW a tip if you want to remain vegetarian, don't walk home from the pub after a half dozen pints of 'Old Original' past the best kebab shop in Leicester, if someone opens the door you'll be drawn in like a moth to the flame and be outside with a large Kiofte in 15minutes dribbling with anticipation.
BTW @The Velvet Curtain This was during my 'posh' era when I lived in Stoneygate so the pub was The Cradock and the kebab shop was 'Pavlovs' on the corner of Queens Rd and Clarendon Park Rd.
How'd you know that?
I stand correctedBacteria aren't animals...
The point where they look vaguely akin to people. Many moons ago there was a lot of hoo-hah about people clubbing baby seals to death. See if you can figure out why...At what point do animals become "pets" or "cuddly"?
