Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
But it is a pity that everyone and his friend now parks in the hospital car parks and genuine people can't find a parking space now that parking is free.

whats you waiting lists like?

was horrendous for a friend in North East Wales- now nearly 2 years since first going to docs and still no idea when he will get the op for routine surgery. for oddball stuff its a really short wait and you get transferred out of Wales as my MIL did with her back cyst

rather pay £8 for the odd prescription ( have you heard of prepayment cards - long term medicines they work out well) than a stoopid long wait. but hey its free prescriptions ;)

Exactly. What's more important than that I say.

I lived in Wales for 5 years and hated every minute of it. The worst place in the world I have had the displeasure of experiencing. Give me prescription charges and England any day.

I love Wales and the people in it. They have been very welcoming to me and have made me feel welcome. Beautiful scenery and decent weather. It's a great place to live. Maybe it was you?:laugh:

Wonderful scenery, generally pleasant people so long as the rugby team is doing OK, and free prescriptions. On the other hand, there are only about 3 days a year it doesn't rain.............

Not true. Yes last year wasnt good, but generally we have great weather in the summer. How good was the weather elsewhere last year?

Awesome! I live in East Anglia, not that far from the driest place in England, and we get roughly 550mm (22 inches) of rain per year (less than Jerusalem, BTW). It most certainly rains an awful lot more than that in Wales.
