Wow, you were going like an express and nearly distributed yourself universally across the back of that truck!

Its at that point where you have to make the decision,

'Do I unclip, and potentially waste time', or do I stay clipped in and just hope that he moves in time so that I don't have to stop suddenly and topple over?' :giggle:

unclip, i prefer to lose that strava segment attempt or get to work a minute later than end up in the hospital!

given i really do thrash it along my two favourite strava segments one of which requires turning right off the road onto another road and have sometimes been caught out by a bus coming the other way and have thus aborted that attempt
here is the turning

Personally, I think that video is an embarrassing display of reckless riding.
You seem to have a serious lack of regard for safety, your speed was ridiculous and the only reason
you managed not to hit the lorry was luck.
That said, I'm glad it was nothing more than a close shave.
Perhaps you should reflect on that?

sorry but looking at that video it also seems that your eyes and brain cells are something else you dont use much:wacko:
I find that very rude. I misinterpreted the van while doing 30mph. The vans right break light is not working and the left light is very dim. So it didn't help. There's no need to insult me.

I was only doing 30mph... and luck? I've been cycling for years and know how to ride. It wasn't luck, it was my quick reflexes in the breaks. I don't know many people who could stop within 3-4 seconds at 30mph after going over a ruff bump on the road.
So, almost everybody else doing what you did would have hit the van, you nearly did, and everything is ok ...?
