But the FIRST question? Not, do you know the history of this rare bike or are any of the parts not standard bicycle etc............

Agreed, I admit to being complete & utterly ignorant over anything about the bike or it's provenance apart from what you have provided in the advert. Therefore IF I was interested in purchasing this to use as a charity or money making scheme then I see nothing wrong with that request. On the other hand if I also knew all about it's provenance & knew how many were made, who by etc, I may also know that the first 2 bikes were 5 speed but the last one was 7 speed, so by asking you this question it would eliminate which one it may or may not be.

But as stated I still find it highly amusing that despite being asked the question several times you are still refusing to answer it, you clearly have your reasons & that is good enough reason but it's still amusing, but then again small things amuse me, I think that every time I get out of the bath.
